The calming sea of sky
Drifts lazily over
As we slip beneath.
Caught within eternal arms.
Magnificent serenity pours down,
Whispering, murmuring rumours of
A love so vast
The universe could not contain
Nor even comprehend it.
And yet, here it is –
In drops of water so fine, so penetrating.
How can I but marvel, but wonder
At this mystery of the ages?
That I, a silly little girl
Can mean life and death
To You?
